Review on πŸš€ Optimized Exhaust Back Pressure Sensor for 7.3-6.0 Ford Powerstroke by Paul Rosemark

Not worth saving. Could cost you thousands

I bought this EBP sensor for my 2005 Ford F-250 with a 6.0 Powerstroke diesel engine. In the first half of October while towing my trailer to a wild camp my intercooler exploded and my turbine was destroyed. After my truck was towed to a diesel shop, they discovered that this new back pressure sensor was defective, resulting in an overboost condition that resulted in catastrophic failures. All I can say is only buy Motorcraft parts if you want reliability with filters and sensors. I took a chance to save money and have thoroughly regretted it. It ended up costing me over $3,000.

Pros
  • Exhaust
Cons
  • Damaged
