What worries me the most is that I don't trust non-branded products from China. I find if it's from China - if it's not branded; This is garbage and not worth saving. Most of the time you get what you pay for. However, this does not seem to be a bad thing. I switched to Samsung DA29-00020B.1) they fit. However, it was significantly denser than Samsung cartridges. I had to push the filter into the port with much more force than before before I could rotate the cartridge to lock it in place. But it's inside and doesn't leak. I wonder why they don't fit better than her. 2) They say they have an ANSI rating of 42 (Aesthetic Taste, Smell) and a rating of 372 (Lead Contamination). and the wording of the reviews is weird so I don't trust them as much as I could. However, Samsung's original cartridge says it also meets the ANSI 53 standard (Heavy Metals and Organics Related to Health Effects). As far as I can tell these are probably lower quality filters than the originals. So is it a good deal in the end? It's difficult to say. I do not think so. We live in the country and our water comes from a well. Our property is not adjacent to a farm and we are on a hill, so our water table should be fairly clear. Who knows if I need the highest quality filter. But I don't know if I would choose these filters if I was using public water or doubting water straight from the tap.
