Purchased for fridge to protect against surges during frequent power outages during recent storms. The refrigerator has just been repaired. The problem is that the device plugs in behind the fridge, so you can't see the problem without removing the fridge. The device must cut off power for 3-4 minutes before it recovers. After using for a day, he turned off the refrigerator (there was no lack of power or obvious overvoltage). We waited over 4 minutes and the fridge wouldn't turn on so we turned it off and returned. I will buy a normal surge protector without any time delay.
