Nice for turntables
The sound is pretty good, the looks are great and yes everything is 60's plastic. I recommend playing records before the advent of digital recording (early 80's). Too much digital recording for this turntable. The main issue I faced initially was speed. it was the wrong note and the music sounded askew and with a lot of vibrato. Thank goodness I let the turntable spin for about 30 minutes without recording and that fixed the problem, apparently the turntable needs to stretch its legs before proper use.
