Bought for my school boy after having back problems from using a standard backpack. Due to Covid students are required to carry all their school supplies with them instead of using lockers. Realizing this would be ideal, we ordered it. On the plus side it has everything she needed to carry around during the day except a water bottle. The side pocket is small and slanted, so when you roll up the bag, the water bottle rolls straight out of the bag. But other than that, it rolls really well, hallways are quiet, and there's plenty of room for books, laptops, pencil cases, and other things kids carry around for no apparent reason. The problem is that after 5 months the handle is no longer lowered. The pin that disengages both parts of the handle only releases the top half, leaving the bottom stuck and not returning to the mount. This makes it difficult to get in and out of the car and the impossibility of hiding it under the desk, as required by the school. Is there a way to just swap the handle? We only have 2 months left. I don't want to buy a new bag and she can't use a standard backpack. Can I get just one pen?
