Needed a chemical peel to prevent hormonal breakouts and it works great. I'm a woman and I first tried it with my brother when I forgot my detergent. Pleasant smell, similar to a slight smell of orange cream. I use it once a day in the morning shower - a coin-sized amount, activate by rubbing my hands, then massage my face for about a minute before rinsing off. Attention - it does not foam and does not foam - this is the consistency of the lotion. Doesn't dry or irritate my sensitive, acne-prone skin.
