, I love my Juki 2010q. I knit and have 4 sewing machines. This is a powerful machine to use to make your blankets. You can put it on a stand like a long arm, but mine is on a big table. This is a lockstitch machine with an automatic thread trimmer. It has a very weak, useless auto-threading system that will frustrate you. I sew quilts and all my machines have automatic threading. But Juki really failed in that regard. I have successfully used the automatic needle threader 3 or 4 times. It's just a really crappy tanker and if that's important to you then don't buy this car. I'm an older woman who has to carry a magnifying glass and I'm good at threading without the auto-threading feature. Everything about this machine when it comes to home quilting is excellent. He purrs like a kitten. Keep it lubricated, maintain it, and you'll have this car for life. I have 2 Juki, singer and brother.
