This machine is a workhorse. I use it all day, almost every day for business. Seamless sewing. Definitely a good investment. Cleaning and lubrication are very important to keep it running. If I had to rate one thing negatively, it would be the automatic needle threader. It rarely streams no matter how many videos I watch. It's faster to just fill it in manually. I've had this machine for almost a year now and I'm very happy with it!

This sewing machine feels solid when you use it - even really fast - a smooth purr. I got it for quilts, so cutting the thread and lifting the presser foot is no problem. I had no problems with the needle threader or machine threading - don't know why all the fuss with the other reviewers. There were no problems adjusting the thread tension either. , I love my Juki 2010q. I knit and have 4 sewing machines. This is a powerful machine to use to make your blankets. You can put it on a stand like a long arm, but mine is on a big table. This is a lockstitch machine with an automatic thread trimmer. It has a very weak, useless auto-threading system that will frustrate you. I sew quilts and all my machines have automatic threading.
