Fabric slightly darker than expected

Comes fully assembled which is great. simple design and use. However, it is not as light gray as in the photo. it's about 2-3 tones darker so if you have a super light gray sofa (like mine) this probably won't work. easy to fix? I threw a blanket over him out of spontaneous domestic pride. Aside from being darker than the photo, it's great!
