Bought this light specifically for video conferencing so often the light source isn't bright enough, too bright and unflattering. Now that I have it, I've found that it's also great for extra lighting where you need it. I used it on a Zoom call and was very happy with the adjustable light level and the ability to set the light to a cool or warm color. Tempo. But I've also used it for lighting when working with indoor watercolor paintings. The natural light setting was very helpful. The clamp mount is very strong, it will hold this light securely wherever you clamp it and has a flexible gooseneck so you can position the light in any position you want. It's lightweight, is powered via USB so it plugs directly into my laptop. With an adapter I can easily use a standard outlet. I think it will be good for traveling. Small enough to fit in my computer bag. My only wish is that it comes with a travel case to protect it, but I probably already have something to use.
