NB is best for people with wide feet who need quality shoes.
My old NBs are 961s but they are worn out and it was difficult to find a new pair of the same model so I bought a pair of 940s. They are not made in the USA. Instead, they are made in Vietnam. At first I didn't want to buy a pair of NBs that weren't made in the USA, but I thought the 940s looked and felt great, and also that a lot of the very expensive products are made in Vietnam. Try to buy luggage that is not made in Vietnam. Good luck with it. The 10-wide 940s are incredibly comfortable and supportive. In my opinion they are actually better than the 961 and cost $50 less. I've always worn EEE and "wide" NBs are equivalent. The front of the shoe is rounded so that there is enough space. I would ignore the negative reviews as they relate to this shoe.
- I've always worn 11.5s in New Balance, they were huge, at least one size bigger.
- Some customers have reported that the shoes are too tight.
