I bought 2 of these, one for each dog as they eat in separate areas of the house. I have 2 medium sized dogs an Australian Shephard and a Border Collie. I usually only have to refill it every week and a half or so. Its easy to fill as there is a screw on cap with a plunger in the center so that when you turn it upside down and put it in the receptacle in the bowl, it depresses the plunger and gravity feeds the water. Once it gets to a certain level, it doesn't allow more water to come out. These things are great. I wish I would have gotten them before now.
