I wasn't sure my daughter would like this but with her upcoming kindergarten move I thought I'd give it a try. She usually took a sheet and blanket to daycare, and on the few occasions I picked her up before bed, she always threw off the blankets and sheets and just slept in the crib. I took the crib out of the box and was impressed by its strength and softness. I put it on the ground to get a feel for the size and my daughter crawled inside and ducked. Washed according to directions and to ease her transition I put her old blanket under the provided blanket and her new little plush doll in her toy bag. He rolled up easily thanks to the extra blanket and doll, and the added bonus is that the underside of the rug is on the outside, so the inside where they sleep stays clean. Overall very happy with this purchase.
