Update 03/01/21: I have a problem: every time I turn on the tester, the default language is Chinese. It took me hours to figure out how to switch it to English. I've marked the steps and can toggle them back if needed. I contacted East Tester for a solution. I am now giving this issue 3 stars. It is not a cheap tool to solve such problem. Original Review: This is a great addition to my electronic tool box. I have a solar system with batteries and I need this tool. When buying new batteries I can test their capacity to make sure they are within spec and look for batteries that I suspect are failing. Basic measurements for CC, CV, CR, CP, CC+CV, CR+CV are easily selectable. In addition, multiple modes are available to meet all my needs and more. Dynamic test, scan, list and short circuit test to name a few. With it I can apply loads of up to 40A at voltages of up to 150V and 400W. This allows me to test any battery, typically between 6V and 48V. The user interface is very easy to navigate and the learning curve is minimal. It features a large color display for easy setup and reading. It has a handle that makes it easy to grab and hold. Despite its light weight, the all-metal body and large heatsink give it a really solid look. It is very well made and of high quality. The tester is easy to use, very accurate and affordable. I feel like I can rely on him for years. I can test pretty much any battery that comes my way. I am very happy with it and can only recommend it. It's great for the price and I give it 5 stars.
