Design: I looked at a lot of window films before deciding on this one. Almost all of the others had fairly uniform patterns or multicolored prisms. This pattern had just the right amount of empty matte spaces and a subtle trailing floral pattern that I liked more than the others. Privacy: This has been rated 4 out of 5 for privacy. After installing it, I checked if I had to worry about someone being able to see through the movie. Unless I stand about 30 cm from the window, no one can see me clearly. So since I don't intend to get that close to the window when bathing or toweling off, I don't care if anyone can see through the film. the exact size of the window, rather than enlarging it, and then trim off the excess with a razor. I didn't want to etch my window with a razor or risk tearing the film to cut a straight line. This product has a small tab that makes it easy to remove the clear backing from the film. The film will not stick unless you remove the clear backing! The most time consuming steps are measuring your windows and then trimming the film to the exact size to ensure the pattern appears correctly (measure twice, cut once and make sure the pattern is positioned correctly). After the film has been cut and the protective film removed, simply spray the window liberally with water from top to bottom, level and slide the film from the top until properly seated. I used a liter bottle with a drop of dawn. My windows were big enough to use my car window cleaner and it was perfect for getting rid of air bubbles and excess liquid. I love my "new" windows!
