Review on Razer Kraken Gaming Headset: Lightweight Aluminum Frame by Pahal Bhatta ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

In general, everything is not bad, but I expected more.

After a time-consuming installation of all of the programs for the Razer headset (because there is also a keyboard from this company), a whole host of new things have become available. One of these is spatial sound, which is perfect for use in computer games, in particular a variety of shooters. When viewed from the outside, the headphones have a very clean and polished appearance; nevertheless, when worn on the head, they have a rather hefty appearance due to the ear cushions. As for the microphone, that's a different story: it sets up very quickly, but if you are on a call with someone and you haven't turned off the microphone in the application and you haven't turned it off on your headphones, then all of the sounds coming from the computer will be transmitted to the person you are speaking to through the call (like a microphone in the opposite direction). Extremely lengthy cable; perhaps it's advantageous for some people, but I can't say that I benefit from it. Because there is nowhere else to put it, it sometimes looks terrible just hanging from the table. Although the headphones themselves are somewhat heavy, you will eventually grow used to the weight. I accepted it as a gift, and to my knowledge there are no additional flaws. I had to wait a whole week before it was finally taken to the post office because it was not delivered very swiftly at all.

Pros
  • Less sound and interference with the user interface
Cons
  • It took a very long time to set up the headphones, and most of the packaging was unclear, heavy, and large. Strange sound quality from the microphone lengthy cable
