The total time it took to bring the tools to the kitchen, disassemble, reassemble and test was a maximum of 30 minutes. The hardest part was separating the two halves of the case due to the rubber inserts along the edges between the top and bottom. The old switch was so bad that my blender failed. Now it works great and is used again several times a week! So far very happy with his work. It's only been a few weeks since I installed it. I'm considering buying another one to have on hand if or when this one fails (assuming I can remember where I keep it!).
