I've been in bike shops and have been riding bikes for over 50 years. After the renovation I now have a home bike shop. I considered hanging my bikes from the rafters with hooks or from the walls with racks, but figured a floor stand might be best for family access. I am very happy. Reasons: 1. It is good for both road and mountain bikes.2. It is very easy to assemble with simple instructions.3. It is lightweight yet durable.4. The price is very good. Please note: Buy five racks and you can downsize to fewer racks with simple assembly and disassembly. That way you'll have more capacity later when you buy more bikes, which we all know you should be doing all the time.
