Review on Lipper International 8883 Kitchen Storage by Charity Johnson

I bought this two tier corner shelf for my desk. I have an L shaped computer desk and I put this block in the corner where the L curves to create more space and more ORGANIZED storage where the desk curves. It is perfect for this purpose and looks good too. Even though bamboo is a grass, it looks like a tree all over the world because of the way the manufacturer processes the bamboo. Build quality is pretty good, making this device very solid. There's no trembling or flapping like that. It's heavy. I keep the remotes sort of hidden on the bottom of this unit - TV, cable box, DVD player, soundbar remote, XM portable radio, and so on. Those remotes were everywhere, now they're pretty much hijacked. The top shelf is slightly recessed and lined with cork. I use it for various shelves. A portable XM radio in a docking station is in the same location, as is a set of jump drives, some batteries, my 10-inch tablet, and pens and pencils. I know it's not a very heavy load, but given the strength of this little device, I wouldn't hesitate to place a balanced 20-30 pound load on it. So it is functional. It's attractive. it is available It's well done. If I needed another one I wouldn't hesitate to buy a second one.
