Lipper International 8883 Kitchen Storage Review

Item arrived broken. The top two shelves were badly cracked. The item came up for auction in the box fitted, but didn't look very secure. The box itself wasn't damaged, but it must have been hit hard somewhere in the shipping process.

Firstly the product arrived very well packaged. It was packed in a soft case to protect it during transport. And it fit perfectly in the box with no extra space so it didn't move. The product itself is durable and has a smooth surface so there are no splinters on it. Looks great on my counter and fits neatly in a corner. Ideal for organizing my products.

I bought this to use as a plant stand on my desk. It actually came broken, part of the wooden frame fell apart in one of the corners where the dovetail didn't look like it was assembled properly. Nothing that could be fixed with some wood glue and staples. Having seen that, however, I don't think I would trust him with good crockery in my kitchen, especially if it's heavy ceramic. I really liked the size of this stand for my needs. I have a corner sink with a very deep counter that runs to the windows behind and was looking for a stand to place plants that I will be killing due to neglect. This works very well for light plants. We use this in the corner of our kitchen next to our stove. However, we don't use it for plates or entrails. We use it for our different sizes of cast iron. Largest at the bottom, smallest at the top. If you were wondering how durable it is, I'd reiterate that it will hold up cast iron with no problem (bought it last year in 2015). Bad manufacturer design and delivery Revain. The first unit I received was broken due to poor shipping from Revain.
