The frame was assembled and tightly wrapped in plastic to hold it together and the large blister was deformed to protect it from other items in the large used box . to ship my order. However, as with some, the corner has been broken off. I took the wood glue from my Elmer and put it together. That's less than I expected. 3 inch shelf spacing. Too small for 2-3 ounce McCormick bottles. Since the bottom is just a frame and not a shelf, I flipped it to make the middle shelf a top one and used it to hold a larger bottle of EVO, salt/pepper grinders and a sugar bowl, and a few 2-3 ounces Bottles of McCormick. The bottom shelf on the counter with unlimited 3" spacing can hold jars of sardines, tuna, anchovies and my 3" jar of raw honey. It's attractive, but as mentioned in another review, a bit cheaper than I was hoping for, I don't expect it to last long when used for adding, storing and removing utensils. . Lever spacing is 9 1/2". This freed up space in my closet, I'm glad I have it but don't expect to buy another one or give it away as a gift.
