I chose these because Zipp Cork brake pads don't have stopping power in the rain, they have traction! front for precise control and install the Swiss Stop Yellow kit at the rear for less precise control but more power. This combo works great but I've found too many times that I've locked up the rear but it's just that I have to get used to the new pads. I have this setup on my road bike and my triathlon bike. "But who brakes on a triathlon bike?" you ask? I do this in a tight corner, at a junction of two highways, in the rainy season, as happened to me at this year's TimeTrial, only with cork pads. Delay took too long and gone in wet traffic. I highly recommend Swiss Stop Yellows. They have great gripping power, don't squeak, and look pretty cool. If you have a black bike with yellow trim, these brake pads are a must. If you have a black bike with no yellow fairing, buy it and change the fairing to yellow!
