Works great. The battery contacts are slightly loose. You may have to twist the batteries a little to turn it on, but other than that it's great and really really bright, easily illuminating my entire desk from 5V USB! It says the input is 6V, but I'm assuming that's just the maximum. It has 3 lighting modes when you press the switch. and it clicks. when you press it at its brightest setting in Super Bright mode. Dark but usable at night on the lowest level. It works great as a night light. I want it to arrive the day it was supposed to arrive, not almost a week later. USPSA, then we missed him because we were sleeping when they came at 9:00, so he ended up coming, and he came a few days later around 7:20!
