I bought a set of 3 with both types of bristles. These brushes are very hard to find and Wet Brush makes them the best, but they are perfect for my natural mixed race hair that doesn't want to act like black OR white hair. I have tight, tangled curls mixed with some loose curls that make my hair tangle very easily. I can detangle my hair like silk with this brush and it detangles knots very easily, keeping it healthy and preventing it from getting tangled. I have given the single bristled brush to my daughter who has looser curls and she loves it and the small one to my son for his much shorter and tighter curls.
