I needed this for my desk and kitchen cabinets as I have a very active and very inquisitive 9 month old son. My husband installed them all for me with glue hoping it would help without a drill. The backs of our cabinets are all wood and my desk is laminate. None of the ones we installed showed up. My son can pull the cabinet out and there isn't even any resistance to try to stop it from opening! Now I find them all over the counter when they fall and my husband or another child picks them up and puts them there so the child doesn't play with the child protection material! I wish I knew what the secret is to everyone who has been so successful! I chose them based on their rating and am very, very disappointed.
