I bought them in May 2022 and four months later the sole of the right sandal broke off at the top edge of the sandal while walking. At first I didn't understand what had happened. It seemed to me that I had caught the front of the sandal on the pavement as I was walking down the street. I looked and noticed the problem was that the sole was bent back. I could go home like a clown and put on hiking boots. I did get some Gorilla Glue and re-glued the sole sparingly, but it fell apart again the next day. I tried to glue the gorilla in place a second time, this time using glue where it had torn apart. The next day I was able to do the 6 mile walk from the Andante Trail to the Hole in the Devil's Kitchen Sink and back again with no problems.
