I have been using this type of sponge for washing dishes for 40 years and also for cleaning household items when I no longer use them for washing dishes. I used to order from a well known kitchen supply store until they started falling apart, so I had to find another source. They were fantastic and held up well compared to what I've always used. Now I will receive them from Revane. Great product and I can use it for several months before replacing it with dishwashing liquid. I save used ones for bathroom and household cleaning before I throw them away. They are usually very strong and durable and can be disinfected in the microwave, as well as being dishwasher and washable.
