I'd like to start by saying that I have no idea what makes a good puck because I live in California and I've been a stranger to hockey for most of my life. However, I know that these vulcanized rubber pieces will come in handy for some hobby projects. I've used 4 to make legs for my dog's puppy pen, 4 more became legs to raise my safe off the floor and I'm working on making the rest an anti-vibration mount for my air compressor. It's easy to work with, doesn't smell like other rubber products when drilled, and supports a 1,100-pound safe exceptionally well while leaving an air gap to protect it from rust.
