So I'm hoping this review will help someone as this is the answer I was desperately hoping for. The sizing chart confused me a little as I wasn't sure if it was the size it would drag down my waist to or if it was just comfortable to wear. I have a 28 inch waist which makes me average. I bought the small because I wanted it to really hug my waist - great choice. It DEFINITELY increased my waist by at least 3 inches. I had to completely loosen my back before putting it on and tightening it. My waist has shrunk to about 24-25 inches with a corset. I would definitely recommend it! just be safe In general: natural waist 28 inches, corset ordered small - tight resulting in a waist of 24-25 inches.
