Review on Manual Food Chopper Processor - Hand Pull Portable Vegetable Fruits Nuts Onions Cutter, 2 Cup BPA Free by Frank Bruton

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Worth it's weight in gold

So I have been eyeing a similar chopper sold by Tupperware for some time now but couldn't bring myself to pay the exorbitant price charged by them. I found this little gem on revain and this thing is a life changer. I do have to say that if you want nice evenly chopped veggies (onions, peppers, etc.) don't expect this thing to turn out a nice clean dice with similarly sized pieces, but if you want miniscule pieces to hide veggies in your foods so the kids don't see them, this is the tool for you! I simply peel the onion, chop it into large chunks and throw it in this machine. The size I bought (medium, I think) doesn't quite fit a huge Vidalia onion so sometimes I have to do the two halves separately, but 7 or so pulls on the handle gives me a nice fine dice that I can put into anything I am making. 10 or so pulls makes an even finer shop that allows me to hide peppers in my spaghetti sauce, or onions in scrambled eggs, so my toddler doesn't know that they are there. If you only do 3-4 pulls some of the pieces will be chopped while others still remain large (or maybe that is from me overfilling it). I definitely plan on buying the bigger size to see if it can handle an entire Florida or Vidalia onion all at once. I honestly could buy one in each size and still spend less than buying one from Tupperware! I might even try doing salsa in the larger sized one with fresh tomatoes, onions and jalapeno.

Pros
  • So easy to use.
Cons
  • Cord can wear out and break after regular use

This little gadget is a must!!! So fast and easy and YOU control how fine you want the veggies to be chopped. I was so happy I just bought another one, don’t want to be without this.
