They work really well

Last year I installed new LED panel lights under the floor in my garage. They were white - I wanted a colored backlight in a 4-inch form factor but couldn't find one. They became available not long ago, so I decided to try them. I had a lot of fun experimenting with how the colored LIGHT (near the front door) works. It was a LampUX lamp. These lights are pretty good, but I took off a star because the lights should come with a foam ring (to keep moisture out of the hole). The spring clips aren't very good either. You are a little thin. I preferred the pre-installed and non-removable clips from my previous white lights. As for app management - I learned from my lightbulb on the porch that there are SEVERAL apps on the Google Play Store - and they're all the same, ie they're little, tiny variations on the SMART LIFE app. able to add those lights well. I did NOT have to purchase the Lumary app. Also, after adding and configuring in the app, it's a breeze to finally connect to Google Home/Assistanct. The app (be it LampUX, Smart Life, Lumary or whatever) isn't great but works well. And I had no trouble connecting them in my Google Home setup. So now I can control them with my voice. My lights (porch lights and now these garage spotlights) are controlled by a light timer switch. So I don't need an app for syncing. The good news is that the lights remember their settings when you turn off the device. So if they're white or colored or whatever, they pick up where they left off the day before. TIME, with a temporary connection of wires so you can set them in the application and so on. Light brightness is excellent - obviously white light is brighter than colors. I'm very happy that the white can also be adjusted to whatever heat setting you want (I'm not a fan of cool white). These lights are suitable for wet areas (like the softs in my garage) because the waffle slices are airtight. . But like I said, a styrofoam ring really should be it. The lights are believed to be UL listed; I don't believe it as there is no real UL logo. But when I look at them, I think they're okay. I'm not worried about the switch boxes getting wet because they're hidden in the soffits. One final point - for you tech nerds, there is NO MAC address printed anywhere on the lighting control boxes. I documented this through my router when I connected each one. Most people don't care, but I do. So when I look at the status of my router I can see exactly what is or isn't on my network. at any time.

Cons
