I have used liquid screen protectors for many years and love the IQ product. Why are liquids better? Because if you make a dry glue screen, there really is nowhere for the bubbles to go. If you squeeze them out, liquid application is a much easier approach. Here are some important tips: 1) Watch the video on the website. 4 minutes is time well spent compared to 40 minutes you would spend complaining on the phone or asking for a different screen protector to try again. 2) Work in a clean area. Serious. that is perhaps the most important. Wash your hands, do not smoke during installation, lock the dog in the room, and clean the work area. 3) Spray the solution over the entire protection, including the edges. This is really important for curved screens like Note 9 and S9/+. Make sure you spray enough. not too wet, but not stingy either. Your phone is waterproof and you can shake off and/or dry the excess! 4) When applying the protective film, start at one end and then lay it lengthwise as for dry application. You'll still have bubbles, but it's okay if you just pop them open. 5) Use the scraper right side up. You'll know you're doing it right because you can see the bubbles and liquid moving with the tip. be gentle and don't go crazy over the smallest dots. Just focus on the big bubbles. 6) After it sits for a few minutes, make sure the bent edges are secure. Use your palm to press the screen that is not flat. Perhaps the most important tip: Install at night. You want to let it dry completely before putting on a case or picking up your phone. If you don't do this, you could slip on the plastic or pull on the edges. A few final notes: 1) This protection covers the iris scanner and the LED, but nobody seems to have any problems. I don't use this authentication, so I can't verify anything. 2) This protection is only good for scratches - if you want shatter protection wait for Gorilla 6 or buy a screen protector and a large case. 3) S-Pen works well, the stylus is as smooth as glass. 4) You might notice more smudges with a screen protector like this, but I'd rather remove the smudges than live with scratches on my $1,000 phone.
