I bought this set when I was starting to make jewelry. I knew little about jewelry and saw that there were many items in the set. The most commonly used part of the kit are small jewelry findings, pliers and wire cutters. Pros: good range of products for beginners; storage case included; cheap for this amount of product. Cons: Case straps don't hold everything you need, especially pliers, so I don't typically use a case for that reason; Wire cutters are great for the wire provided, but it's very difficult to cut anything thicker; ordinary pliers, when closed, leave a gap if they are not squeezed very hard (photo); Round nose pliers don't fit exactly (photo) - but that wasn't a problem; It would be nice if it came with a list of products/uses. Overall, I deducted a star for my most used items, knives and pliers. Would I buy again? Yes, but only for beginners. I've since upgraded my pliers. This is a good set if you are unsure of what you are doing and/or want to get a feel for the jewelry business before investing all your time in it.
