The supplied mounting screws are M8 in size. We made some custom mounts out of 1" x 1/8" store bought steel. Trim to about 3.5 inches. Drill 4 holes for the screws and then one in the middle for the mounting screw. Then drill a 1/2 deep hole in 2x4 for the bottle end and nut. "Long screws to attach the bracket. The exact dimensions are not given. The top bracket is supposed to be about 1/3 the length of the top, so I set the top 13.5 inches from the top inside edge. I installed the bottom bracket 8.5 inches from the bottom inside edge. Works very well! Can be opened easily. When closing about 6 inches to the left, it wants to slam. Be careful when closing.
