The design is well executed. That works great. It makes more coffee than my sister's old French press, so she stole it. It looks like everything is stainless steel, not metallic plastic. it's strong I really liked the spout - it's wide and deep - much better than the small spout handle on the glass French presses. I didn't spill a single drink while using it. You should throw in the instructions - they weren't for that specific size.
