I have very sensitive ears so I need to change the hooks on my jewelry. They work great. I always order them when I get a new pair. Although they are not permanent. I would say I had to change them after a year or so. But I use them on cheap earrings, so over time, once the hooks are through, the earrings will be through. And for the price it's worth it to me.
