The kit includes a red panel which is silly because you can't place a picture underneath and look through to place the beads. Luckily we have a blank board from a previous purchase that we could use. So be careful, you can't complete the photos with the included red board. You need a transparent board that can be looked through.

SUPER CUTE. They did almost everything. I love the color scheme, it's really perfect. I bought it to make HP Christmas tree decorations. Unfortunately, the red "plate" warped the first time it was used. We ended up using a transparent "plate" from another company to entertain my daughter. I have many of these sets from Perler. I am disabled and rarely go outside. It's very relaxing and fun. My sister in law, I and my grandchildren throw parties of all kinds. I was so excited when I discovered the Harry Potter set. The little ones came out great, but the big ones broke due to a deformed base plate. I was planning on hanging them on the wooden Christmas tree I have, which is very tall (made from a piece of plywood my son designed and made for me).

I got this as a Christmas present for my older sister who loves HP. The only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 is because it's a good set for the price and I knew she liked the end product. The package itself arrived safe and sound and I'm sure it would make a wonderful birthday present for a little girl. BUT, the product manufacturer might want to rethink their packaging! It is important to note that this set comes with large square pegboards and NO specific Harry Potter shape pegboards. If I knew I would just buy the Harry Potter picture book they sell separately and use the square pegboards we already have. It's nice to have beads separated by color, but it's definitely cheaper to buy a large bucket of beads and a Harry Potter storybook for around $7. different designs could be made. We love safety balls but this set was disappointing. I think I was expecting at least 3 shaped templates (human, shield, griffin) but there was only a square base for the bead assembly. So you are limited to the design as in Roblocks. In itself this would not be an obstacle, but there is only a template base and no tweezers. The lack of forceps made it difficult for DD (12).
