Review on First Alert ADK 12 Adapter Hardwire by Scott Mcgowan

Kidde smoke alarms on 3 levels (9 detectors) were connected in my house. The idea of reworking each fork for a new detector was very undesirable. These adapters were perfect (I carefully checked that my existing model of detector and my intended new models are included in this adapter cover). I bought new First Alert detectors from Lowes and quickly replaced my 15 year old Kidde detectors. The slow step was to unscrew the old base plate and replace it with a new one. The plugs allowed me to swap out all of my old detectors in a couple of hours. Money well spent!
