
Initially I looked at boring 60Hz panels without realizing they were available. I stumbled across this thinking it was a joke but I'm glad I was wrong. It really is as thin as it claims and it really is a 144Hz 1080p panel. Brightness, contrast and blacks are all top notch. This competes with the 144Hz panel in my gaming laptop. In movies, the picture is actually better. I set the brightness to 65% because I always wear prescription sunglasses, but to the naked eye the standard 50% is more than enough, this thing is BRIGHT even when powered from a basic USB-A 3.0 port . Haven't tried it yet, but I have no doubt that when I turn it on I can still easily watch it outdoors in direct sunlight. I'm definitely planning at least one more for a portable three-monitor setup.
