I'm surprised how great this works. My TT had static electricity that the carbon fiber brush never got rid of. That helped. Speaking of tricks, there's a trick to using it! If you hear a click, you are compressing too fast. Keep the LP on the edge: aim at 12 o'clock and slowly press/release, aim at 4 o'clock and slowly press/release, aim at 8 o'clock and slowly press/release, center on the aim and *just press*, vinyl liberation and devices. This is the original procedure from the instructions that came with it in the 70's. I very much doubted it would work and was disappointed when I didn't see dust just falling off things, but I missed the point: it removes static electricity so dust is easier to wash off, objects don't attract dust as easily and static electricity removes clicks during playback. It does all of these things better than any product I've tried before. Again, if you hear it pop, you're squeezing it too fast.
