My house is down the hill so the cellular connection isn't working. Installing an antenna on the roof should make it better, right? Well yes, with reservations. The biggest risk is "hopping", well explained in the instructions and I was fed up with that given the trees and the house on the hill. Yes, I successfully redirected the antenna, but the problems remained. In the end I found a solution - put aluminum foil between the internal and external antennas (and the reflection zone). Indoor reception improved radically in the kitchen, although other areas suffered. But having good reception in a key area of our home is a godsend. But the notion that this rig could span 2,500 feet is clearly preposterous. Stay within 10 minutes which is great. But don't expect miracles if you have a weak external signal (so check that out).
