Did the trick - no reception up to 4Mbps

Not even a smart setup and it does exactly what I need. I cut some branches from the cedar, tied the antenna, parked my jeep. We bought 10 acres of land, there are many hills around, there are no towers. The nearest tower is relatively close (several miles away) but behind a huge hill. . Pointed it at the hill, and within minutes I was on the phone and (albeit with slight delays) surfing the web. Maybe he has to act now and then so I can keep silent :)

Works as advertised

The product was easy to install and set up. I use it in the country with the nearest tower 12 miles away. The booster significantly and consistently increased the signal strength on my iPhone from 1-2 bars to 3-4 bars. I am aware that bars are not always an accurate indication of signal strength and the built in field test mode on my iPhone does not always work properly so I was unable to get a dBms reference. However, it's just the increase in base performance that makes this product suitable…

Not bad for accessories

I bought this item for my roommate as he has a Verizon Wireless which is not compatible with our current AT&T Microcell. The product was delivered quickly and matched the description. The hardest part of the installation was getting the ladder out so the extension could be placed on the roof where there would be the best signal. After installation, Verizon Wireless signal went from 0 to 1-2 bars, but my AT&T signal went from 0 to 4 bars on 4G. The main thing is that the AT&T Tower isn't that…

Awesome Booster the best accessory

I bought this signal amplifier for my 2000 sqm. Feet, that's a steel building, that. Even though we're very close to a cell tower, it's difficult to pick up a cell signal. This has always been very bad for our business. So I bought this amp and installed it. The location of the external antenna must match the cell tower. The distance between different accessories depends on your home. After everything went well, I ran it. The results are very satisfactory. No, I can get about four bars of cell…

Oh yeah. boom baby boom

I tried a $150 mobile device and it didn't work. I got it and bam. We are online again. My use case: metal shipping containers. It's basically a giant Faraday cage. When you close and lock these huge doors, you electronically disappear. This is great in case of a nuclear explosion or EMP. It's annoying when surfing the web every day. My advantage is that I have a 5 mile line of sight to cell towers and unlike the mobile I tried first, this kit has a directional antenna. Aiming the directional…

Turnkey installation

My house is down the hill so the cellular connection isn't working. Installing an antenna on the roof should make it better, right? Well yes, with reservations. The biggest risk is "hopping", well explained in the instructions and I was fed up with that given the trees and the house on the hill. Yes, I successfully redirected the antenna, but the problems remained. In the end I found a solution - put aluminum foil between the internal and external antennas (and the reflection zone). Indoor…

Suitable for Apartment

We live on the ground floor of a high rise building in a major city and all of our windows face one direction. The service was terrible inside but everything seemed fine from the outside. So I thought I'd try. I'm limited as to where I can put it because I'm not scaling a 12 story building to fit the roof, so I attached it to our patio railing and got a flat adapter cable so I can route it under the back door ( This was a life saver as I was afraid I would have to return the booster because I…

Fiction! Better than expected!

We live in a rural area and the nearest cell tower is 4 1/2 miles away. Usually we get 1-2 bars outside and at best 1 bar inside. Using the mobile phone in the house was problematic, sometimes it worked, sometimes the call didn't go. Did some research on boosters and decided to take a chance after reading the reviews (mostly positive) about them. After you have the device installed and the "antenna" aligned, turn on the power and BAM! Get 3-4 bars at home now! Brilliant! I learned a lot during…
