Review on πŸ”§ WORKSITE Keyless Variable Cordless Driver by Chris Edgerton

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Affordable

This drill looks good on paper. It features a brushless motor, metal keyless chuck, variable speed and hammer mode, and comes with a battery and charger and a set of bits. It costs less than a well-known branded drill with similar characteristics. Is it worth? I usually think when it comes to tools, buy the best you can afford. Good tools last longer and work better. But not everyone can afford high quality. This drill bit does a good job of drilling holes and driving screws. The drill chuck accepts drills up to 1/2 inch in diameter. The advertised impact mode, useful for drilling into masonry, exists but isn't as powerful as a top quality drill bit. Variable speed works, but a little tricky. The battery doesn't last as long as some and you only get one which you really need to buy another for if you're planning a big project and don't want to charge every time you run out of charge and it's not at the time of the As of writing this article, it was clear when additional batteries would become available. However, if you need a cordless drill for small projects and don't want to test its durability, this is a good deal front. And if you read reviews of some well-known brands of drills, you will see that not everyone is happy with them. Of course, if you use a drill all the time and need heavy duty use, you should look elsewhere.

Pros
  • KEYLESS 1/2" ALL METAL CHAMBER - Compared to a 3/8" plastic chuck, this drill bit features a 1/2" ratcheting metal chuck for unmatched performance for maximum accessory compatibility and durability.
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
