I am very pleased with this 6" LED Recessed Ceiling Light / Flush Mount Kit from Hykality! Not only have I replaced 9 recessed ceiling lights, I have also replaced 3 other lights in my house that had lights that I don't need! Having both options in one box was really fantastic. The kit included everything needed for installation into a conventional base downlight, or for direct wiring as a complete fixture replacement. The bracket is approximately 7" in diameter. The small, opaque dome is made of flexible plastic but not too thin so it won't crack or break when flexed.It simply slides in and twists counter-clockwise to lock.The rest of the light is white and feels solid yet lightweight Installing the light in any way was extremely easy.The instructions provided are very basic but tell the story well . When installing in a recessed fixture, simply remove any bulb in the existing fixture, connect the new LED disc to the included bulb socket adapter and screw in like a regular bulb. . You then find places for the feathers to hook into the recessed glass and you're done! When installing as a kit, you need neither a lamp socket adapter nor a spring and can simply plug in the drive. directly to the wires in the box in the wall/ceiling. There are stickers on the back of the drive that you will need to remove to reveal the mounting holes depending on your size or your electrical box. It's very easy to understand. Unscrew the dome cover, screw the included screws into the mounting holes, put the dome cover back! The brightness is excellent! The color of the light is white which is great as I did with the faint yellow color of the bulbs. I couldn't be happier with this set of gadgets.
