Very clear optics and easy to use almost straight out of the box. Very durable and very user friendly built. It took me a few minutes to figure out how distances are calculated, but there was a problem with the operator function. The only "small" shortcoming is the HORRIBLE yellow carrying strap that attaches the binoculars. I would highly recommend these binoculars for any purpose.
