Review on ❄️ Icy Cool Ice Bandana by Gary Generale

Revainrating 2 out of 5

At least it takes the edge off.

I bought two of these because I often go for walks and go outside. Temperatures in Klein/Spring Texas, where I live, have been hotter than I've ever felt, with air temperatures hitting 100 degrees Fahrenheit day in and day out. At first I used some sort of "cooling cloth" that only used evaporative cooling with water, but that didn't help at all. Then I read reviews of cooling neck wraps and decided on them. For temperatures between 100 and 105 degrees Fahrenheit, the article will help a little, but not enough. I think it would work if someone considered the temperature range of 80 to 35 degrees Fahrenheit as "hot", but if it's hotter then this item really doesn't have enough cooling effect. Also, at least at the temperature I walk and hike at, a strip of cold compress will begin to melt and turn into a fluid build-up in less than an hour. Also, I have to tighten the bandage around my neck so that the bandage is flush with my skin and it feels like I'm suffocating - if the bandage isn't tight it doesn't work very well. So minus a star for melting/thawing in less than an hour and minus a star for not having enough cooling effect and minus half a star for having to pull the item so tight. I still recommend this article, but if you're in 100+ degrees Fahrenheit then I recommend investing in an active cooling vest or maybe a space suit :PUPDATE : Cold compresses that slip into the neck brace are at two now leak . I will look around for a better product. Despite this, I would not recommend this product to anyone.
