They changed it completely. We released a pair that was perfect and popular about 3 years ago which is the reason for the mostly outstanding average reviews for this product. The size of the bottom box has changed - the latches don't match, so it pulls the material a little more on top and then it's not even on the sides. The lid is too big for the box to sit in, but it doesn't fit the box snugly and slides. See photo. Eventually, the material itself became shiny and uneven, and before that it was dull and smooth. Big disappointment.
