Upon unpacking, I noticed a small dent in the top front of the lid. The dent was not the result of packaging or shipping and appears to have occurred before it was packed for shipping. I put in the first VHS tape and everything went fine on playback, FF and Rev, but when I hit the eject button the tape tried to eject but got stuck and reloaded in the VCR. I removed the cover and found that the dent had formed just above the top leg of the cassette frame and the force that caused the dent must have been large enough to flex the top of the frame for the cartridge to snap onto during the ejection cycle. I straightened the top leg of the frame and was able to remove the tape. After this repair, I played 27 VHS tapes with no problems.
