We made this to take our Jekchi (7-8 lbs) with us on our trip. and also. There are a few downsides that just make it really annoying and maybe not worth it. Firstly there is a clip in the middle to hold the mesh (I think) that will be on your dog's face (see photo), secondly it doesn't open fully, only the top half and bottom half it would very helpful when it opens fully. There is velcro on the side that makes it look like it will open fully, but it doesn't and it's just useless. Third, the backpack straps have no storage space, when not in use, the adjustable part of the strap constantly hangs on the ground and hits the wheels, very inconvenient. Overall the idea is great but the execution sucks.
