Bought this as an exotic Christmas present for my wife. It was a little extravagant to buy when she could just tip the bottle to fill her glass, but now that we have it I'm glad we bought it. The batteries popped in easily and he was ready to go. I attached one of the rubber tubes, uncorked a wine bottle and placed it on the bottle neck. The base of the device fits well with all of the wine bottles we tried. It fits snugly and is easy to remove, ready for the next bottle. Cleaning is fun. Just take it off the wine bottle, remove the rubber hose from the bottom and run some warm water through it. There doesn't seem to be much wine left in the device itself, but I just reconnected the hose and poured in some warm water and it seemed to clear straight away. We've used it for at least a dozen bottles since Christmas and the batteries are still going strong and we've had no issues with it. It's a sophisticated piece to flaunt at your next neighborhood gathering. We've had several people asking about it.
